Rachel de Cock (DipGSM)

Whether you are an aspiring beginner or experienced professional, I can help you to develop your specific vocal and musical needs.

I professionally trained in Voice, Piano and Viola at The Purcell Music School and The Guildhall School of music and Drama in London and over the past 25 years have enjoyed a varied career as a singer, session musician, vocal coach and songwriter. (full biography)

As a vocal coach, I have taught everyone from charting pop singers, West End actors and dancers, to children and individuals simply wanting to learn for fun, so what ever your aims are, I am here to here to help. Lessons are customised to suit the individual, with a strong emphasis on not only developing professional musical skills but also having a great time doing it!

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, I have moved all my lessons online with great success. I find online lessons to be a wonderfully focused experience for both student and teacher and it also offers great flexibility. Travel and location are no longer an issue and most importantly, we can all feel a little more secure during the current pandemic. I welcome students from all over the world to my online studio!

I teach all vocal styles, from Pop to Classical and Singer-Songwriters are invited to bring their own music. I cover a variety of different musical areas, including basic piano, performance skills, mic technique, songwriting, performance anxiety and much more, so please get in touch to discuss your requirements and aims.

Music is for everyone and my aim is to make sure you to leave your lesson singing!
